👩‍⚕️ About the Role

The Clinical Trial Support Manager (CTSM) Team Leader plays a crucial role in driving the success of clinical studies. This position is all about leadership, mentorship, and collaboration. You’ll be supporting a team of CTSMs, ensuring they’re equipped, motivated, and guided to deliver excellence in clinical study execution.

You’ll report directly to the CSO Study Management Head (India) and functionally to the Clinical Trial Support Head.



💡 Key Responsibilities

✨ Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, train, and coach a team of CTSMs.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative team culture 🤝.
  • Provide performance reviews, goal-setting, and ongoing mentoring.
  • Guide team members in problem-solving and issue escalation.

✨ Training & Onboarding

  • Organize impactful training sessions 📚.
  • Build documentation to support onboarding & team processes.
  • Lead recruiting and hiring for new team members.

✨ Study Oversight

  • Ensure adequate resource planning for studies.
  • Monitor study timelines and milestones ⏳.
  • Drive synergy and consistency across the CTSM team.
  • Share best practices and lessons learned for continuous improvement.

✨ Collaboration & Communication

  • Work closely with other Team Leaders, Support Leads, and Heads.
  • Represent the team in study meetings and cross-functional discussions 🌍.
  • Encourage open communication and recognition of team successes 🎉.

🎓 About You

To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

✔️ Bachelor’s degree (advanced degree preferred; scientific discipline a plus).
✔️ At least 2 years’ experience in clinical operations & study management.
✔️ Knowledge of clinical development, GCP & ICH guidelines, FDA/EMA regulations.
✔️ Strong cross-functional collaboration and negotiation skills.
✔️ Ability to anticipate and mitigate issues with proactive solutions.
✔️ Adaptability to new environments and digital tools 💻.
✔️ Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple priorities.
✔️ Strong written and verbal communication skills in English 🌐.
