What Does an Analytical Monitor Do?
The Analyst II, Analytical Monitor is a key individual contributor who applies their expertise in site monitoring and Analytical Risk-Based Monitoring (ARBM). This role involves a deep understanding of data analytics, processes, and relevant technologies to support clinical trials. You'll be instrumental in ensuring the smooth and compliant execution of trials by:
* Conducting Analytical Monitoring: Performing regular reviews at both the site and subject level to proactively detect issues and prevent their recurrence.
* Collaborating with Stakeholders: Working closely with Site Managers and other data management professionals to address trends and signals identified from the data.
* Accessing and Analyzing Data: Utilizing various systems and reporting tools to identify potential risks related to data quality, patient safety, and compliance.
* Providing Timely Insights: Delivering crucial analytical data insights to help Site Managers make informed decisions regarding site prioritization and engagement.
* Driving Process Improvement: Supporting innovation and process improvement projects, including developing requirements and identifying enhancements to analytical tools.
Who is Johnson & Johnson Looking For?
J&J is looking for a professional with a strong foundation in both health and data sciences. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least four years of experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or a related industry.
Required Qualifications:
* A Bachelor's degree, preferably in Health Sciences or Data Sciences.
* 4+ years of experience in the Pharmaceutical, CRO, Biotech, or a related industry.
* Solid knowledge of trial site operations and study execution.
* Working knowledge of regulatory guidelines, such as ICH-GCP.
* A demonstrated understanding of data analysis and basic statistical concepts.
* Experience in project, issue, and risk management with strong problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency with technology platforms and systems for data collection and analysis.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills in English.
* Knowledge of the clinical drug development process.
Preferred Experience and Skills:
* Experience with complex data structures and reporting.
* Familiarity with external data sources (e.g., Safety Lab, PK, etc.).
* Proficiency in statistical analysis, data modeling, and visualization techniques.
* Knowledge of Risk-based Quality Management (RBQM) and Risk-Based Monitoring (RBM).
* Advanced degrees (Masters, PhD) are also preferred.
